Bay to Barkers, a fund-raising walk and pet fair benefitting The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society, is a beloved Bay Area institution.
At this year’s 15th anniversary event on July 29, more than 300 attendees enjoyed a waterfront walk with their dogs on the north side of Golden Gate Fields in Albany, followed by a lively festival featuring lots of vendors, live jazz, a silent auction, child-friendly activities, and training demos. The day brought over $30K into the BEBHS coffers to support its important programs and services. Sun, fun, and funds for needy animals is a combo that’s hard to beat!
